Looking for a Killer Engine combo....... within...

Hey guys... havent posted in a while....

Anyway here's whats up.. Now that i have the 2001 T/A as my daily driver (beater) ;-) , i wanna get insane with the 92..

RIght now the car is a 1992 firebird with a 355, edelbrock 750 carb, ported and polished vortec heads, hyperutechtic pistons, hooker headers, contintental custom torque converter, race prepped 700r4, stock rear with 3.73 posi.

I sold the supercharger a few months ago (kicking myself).

Anyway, I would like a solids 11 sec combo... I wanna run around 11.5 ish..... I'm pretty sure i could do it with my current setup and another supercharger, but im worried about my $8 hyperutechtic pistons and my stock rear end. I'm thinking about just pulling the engine and redoing it with forged pistons... But maybe i should just leave it how it is and fix it when it breaks. I wonder how much i'll spend on a ford 9" rear end?

The car is not emissions leagal etc.. but anyone have any good recipes or combos? I will probably end up with another 144 cid supercharger.. so if i can get mid to low 12's on motor that would be great.

Cam thats it in it right now is
224/234
465/488

It's a whole lot easier to make a car go fast if it's lighter... I'd suggest you start by putting the car on a diet.

Wonder how much weight i can cut from it...... I do still drive it on the street some even though its not street legal.. i'd rather avoid ditching a/c, interior etc.. so not sure what that leaves...
