cubic inches??

Just wondering what are the cubic inches of these motors?

350 bore.30 over=355
350 bore.60 over=?
350 bore.30 over w/383 crank=?
350 bore.60 over w/383 crank=?

Or what makes a 350 become 383ci?

Any other motor ci combos you know post them.
Thanks,
Carl

To find cubic inches, use this formula:

(3.1415 * (Bore/2)^2) * Stroke * 8

Bore/Stroke sizes for common engines are listed here:

http://home.golden.net/~appster/text.january.html

When people say "30 over" or "60 over" they mean 30 or 60 thousandths of an inch, so really, its 3 or 6 tenths of an inch, so when adding the overbore to the bore size, it would look like this:

4.125" + .030" = 4.155" (406 cubic inches with a 3.75" stroke)
