Would these heads improve my LO3?
I have a set of freshly re-build heads.
The casting numbers are 354434
Would these work on my LO3?
Would they be an improvement?
I don't know anything about the performance characteristics of these heads any ideas?
Would my headers bolt on? or will I have to get new ones?

never heard of umm, but they probably need to be ported and given bigger valves considering they came on alotta suck a$$ engines. I'll see if i can find more, on them. They will work, but got me on power, ill get back to you on it

they have 1.72 Intake ports. they are old camaro heads from the late seventies. They can be opened up to 2.02 Intake valves creating a 62cc chamber. Very small deckmating suface do not deck or straight mill these heads, they have very little meat on them

How much cash do ya think it would cost to do the 2.02 valve upgrade?
Should I try porting them after I get the valves done?

OK how about this
These heads are rebuilt so..
Is there a better casting I could find in a junk yard and just swap my valves and springs with new seals
or am I just drawing at straws now?

pick from the list, this is a brief description of heads
not all of them are there in the list, 416's and 081's are other good 305 heads but look for some with a 1.94 Intake
vortecs would work nicely, very well actually, look for a totaled beat up 90's pick up and get the casting #'s off gm
this is waht the marking would look like they are very good heads, the old ones you have you can use but they require work to make power.
See that marking on the front the /V\ that is a vortec, keep in mind they are $5-700 brand new
