Car cranks then dies
I got stranded about a mile from the house friday night at about 4:30. Not fun. I'm running a 350TPI in my TA It stalled out as I came to a stop sign. It will now start and idle for a few seconds then die. If you get on the throttle while it is idleing it dies. It won't start with the throttle open at all. I'm just getting a chance to start looking for a problem. I'm thinking fuel pump, but does this sound familiar to anyone else??.

Oil pressure switch, perhaps.
You're getting the initial pressure from the relay. When it times out, the switch isn't doing its job providing the power to the pump.
Of course, I may have it all wrong.
