Ram Jet 430 update.........Its alive!!!

I got the Ram Jet motor fired up late last night. Sounds pretty sweet. Need to go reset the roller rockers tonight and play witht he timing a bit, set the IAC, etc. Thought you guys would like to know. I think Ive about got this thing figured out now. Maybe Ill be able to take it for a drive tonight. Ill keep you guys posted.

Yeah, I am also looking forward to taking it to the track. If this thing puts out 430HP like it should, I dont see why I couldnt get some 12second timeslips even with the car in its current state (stock rear suspension, 3.27s, stock tranny/converter)

Its already set up for the T56. As soon as I buy a clutch, the T56 is going in as well as some 3.73s for the 9bolt.

12's are possible if you can get traction, which i doubt with stock rear suspension. But i bet you could win a burnout contest...

LMAO about the burnout contest!! Actually, before I run it at the track, I will probably do some spohn LCAs w/ relocation bracketsn and torque arm.

I really cant wait to see how this thing really runs. I think it should probably pull to ~6000RPM or so. The intake looks like it ought to perform well.
