block filler in heads?

OK, Ive heard of people using block filler....in blocks. But what about heads? What exactly does it do, other than add rigidity to the block? Can it be used to patch holes in cast iron? I was thinkin, my friend's got some double humps that hs ported all to hell, and one of the ports he went a lil to far, kina like on mine, but worse, about .4"X.6". Would it be possibly, or safe, to tape off the whole, pour in some block filler, let it harden, remove the tape and smooth? IUt just seems like a big hole to weld, and he really doesnt wanna get rid of these heads.

Epoxy time. Definitely don't put block filler in the heads, they have very precise and needed water passages. It would **** **** up like a mother ****ing **** ****er.

You can only use block filler in a block because it is not necessary for coolant to flow around the bottom of the block. Only the top 3.5" or so of the cylinder get hot. So filling the bottom of the block does not effect cooling like filling a head would.
