hey Guys, what is the IAC valve, and what does it do?? Where is it located on my car? (89 5.7 GTA) How hard is it to replace, and is it expensive?
Thanks

Idle Air Control valve. It's the valve that the ECM controls to adjust idle speed under various conditions- startup, normal idle, cold idle, A/C on, etc. It's located on the underside of the TB and has a 4-wire weatherpack plug going to it. Not too tough to replace.
