Which line is this:
The line that is attached to the exhaust that hugs the exhaust pipe going towards the cat? Someone cut the line. Its made of metal, kind of looks like a fuel line but I know it can't be that because the engine runs.

I bet its (or was) an AIR tube. they come off the smog pump and the exaust manifolds.
if you don't have smog testing just get rid of the rest of the system. JMO
