Oil pan gasket question
I took the oil pan off my ZZ4 (new style block, ie 88+) so I could powder coat the pan. . I was going to order a new gasket from the dealer but they are about $60. The gasket looks like its rubber and not the typical cork or paper. Is it reuseable? It's still stuck to the block. Should I just use some rtv and put the pan back on? Thanks, Josh

It might be reusable.
If you're going to replace it. Check the price of an aftermarket gasket kit at the parts store of your choice. If you were going to spend the whole $60 you'd be better off getting a Fel-Pro one-piece gasket.
