What would cause this? My injectors aren't looking to good when they spray...spurtin every once in awhile. Would this hurt my power up top? Cause my car feels REAL strong down low until 3rd gear...wondering what different kinds of things cause power loss at the high end. Thanks a lot guys.

Weak valve springs, plugged fuel filter or weak fuel pump (not enough fuel flow to the engine - "Flow", not pressure). Pressure is only part of it. You also need the volume especially at the top end.

And like you mentioned. Dirty fuel injectors.

The chance if it being an ignition problem is slim. Lack of power on the top end is usually fuel.

Definitly could be the injectors,sounds like your lacking fuel. If that isn't it, could be the fuel pump. But if your injectors are as bad as you say they are,most likely that's it.

 

Well, it looks like I just have something else to replace with aftermarket parts. "Yes I will take a pair of Turbocity flow matched injectors please, thank you."
