Underdrive Pulleys

I just got through putting some underdrive pulleys on my 92 305 TBI. I bought the race underdrive ones, which are even smaller than the regular underdrive ones. I can really feel the difference. I ran a stoplight-to-stoplight that I normally run to see how the car is running. Normally I can get to 80 a little after passing the second light, but now I got to 80 about 80 feet before the light. I even had a friend in the car with me this time. The only thing is that the Ammeter on the dash goes way down when I idle and goes back to normal when I hit the gas. Has anybody else put these on their car and are they satisfied with the results?

The drop in the meter is expected as the alternator isn't spinning as fast anymore. You can get a pulley for the alternator to fix that issue.

I did get the alternator pulley. I got both the crank and the alternator pulley when I bought them.
