roller rockers

Can I use non aligning roller rockers in a L98 350 TPI engine? Or do I have to use them with guideplates?

it would depend on what head you have, since you never said. if it's stock haed with self aligning rockers you'd need the non self aligning rockers and a method to align then, like guide plates. big point to remember is to no mix locating methods.

no the stock head is set up for SA rockers so you'd need to change that, simplying installing a non sa rocker wouldn't do the job

Guideplates need to be installed using screw in studs which stock iron heads do not have. You will need self-aligning roller rockers for you setup. Also make sure that the pushrod slots in the head do not interfere with the rockers ability to 'self-align'.
