HSR to Carb...

as of right now i have a HSR setup on my motor, and its really far outta whack...i've been working with PCMforless and they can't seem to get it tuned in...so the next thing is either find somebody that has a laptop and knows how to custom tune, or find a place with a dyno and get it tuned that way...i live in the U.P. Of michigan, and its hard as hell to find a person to do this, let alone a dyno.. so this is where i'm at right now, a buddy offered me a good chunk of change for my HSR setup, so I was thinking about just throwing a carb and carb intake on... so now i'm kinda in a dilema now, i would definately have lots of money left over after i sell the HSR and buy a carb setup. What would performance do? right now i'd be lucky to have 200 horse the way its running, but i'm talking once everything is tuned pretty good, where would each setup stand? All my mods are in my sig...the carb is sounding real good cuz it'll be like 500 at the least to get this thing running right...also this thing isn't really an all out daily driver, more of a toy, so drivebility issues isn't a big deal..

cuz i don't know the first thing about doing that...i've read into it, and everythign just sounds like greek to me...I don't see how people can just ride around with a laptop and tweak there computer. When people start talking about pulse widths and blah blah, i already get frusterated..

Well I dunno what to tell you. Maybe you should pick up a book on fuel injection. If you know how an engine works, and can tune a carb than EFI should be easier. You don't even have to get your hands dirty.
