falls on its face at 4000 rpm
after fixing the choke, installing new bosch plug wires, accel cap and rotor, msd blaster coil, my car starts really well, idles really well, and the choke works like a charm. anyways, my problem is when i floor it and the car reaches 3500-4000 rpm, my car feels like it wants to stop. no more acceleration, it basically coasts idle. i figured it had to be spark or fuel, so i bought new ac delco rapidfire plugs. does anyone know if these are good plugs? my old plugs are bosch platinums. anyways, if this isnt gonna fix my problem, have any clues at to what will? by the way, im having a trouble code 15 with my temp gauge pegged. i still cant find out why that is. thanks

Z28,
The code 15 is for a CTS fault - Low temperature reading. The CTS used to report temperature to the ECM is a separate sensor from the device used to control the dash instrument.
The low temperature signal is probably due to a failed or disconnected sensor. A short in the sensor wiring to ground would cause the ECM to read a high temperature (code 14).
The lack of power at higher RPM could be related, since the ECM uses the CTS input to scale the fuel rates. Repair that problem first, then go on to the next (if it still exists).
