people with hot start problems, READ
As with many people here, im havign troubles with my car wanting a few more cranks then usual to start when its warm. but in the morning it starts perfect.
im thinking that maybe it could be a temp sensor of some sort not working right, like in the morn or when the engine is cold, it realizes this and enrichens the fuel mixture, but when the engine is warmer, it requires a different mixture to start correctly, i had this problem with an old chrsyler and a throttle body temp sensor fixed it. and plus im having trouble with my car wanting to stay running in the morn, so im gonna change the sensor anyways.
but i thought changing the temp and air temp sensor might help with the warm start problems, im gonna replace them this weekend most likley so il post the results by sunday.
but im just curious of ur comments or experiences.

If a sensor is INOP or is giving readings that are not in the normal range of what the sensor should be reading, the ECM will likely notice there is a problem present and flag a DTC on that particular componant. You should be getting an SES light if you have a dead or severely malfunctioning sensor......

I think he's right. If the CTS sensor doesnt read right when the car is warm, the ECM might make the engine start a little later. I've noticed that if my CTS sensor is disconnected the car will crank but it takes like 10 seconds (literally) of cranking to start. I've had it come unplugged while working that area a couple of times and it just take FOREVER to start after cranking.
