What are the identifiable marks to ID a LPE 219/219 cam?
I just bought one from a someone, and it has a GREEN STRIPE just behind the Fuel Pump lobe, and it is a L-98/LT-1 style, since it has the cam retainer plate stepped nose, and the deep 95-97 LT-1 OPTI-SPARK hole. I noticed a number stamped on the rear, but I don't have that number with me at the moment, but will provide that # later if that will help. I believe the seller that is is what he says it is, but Ii would just like some DEFINITIVE proof. Thanks for any help you all can provide. My main reason for questioning the true ID of this cam was the fact that I was told it didn't have a FUEL PUMP LOBE. All help accepted.

Mine had the green stripe also. The only real way to know is to send it to comp cams and have it put on their cam doctor, will cost you about $30 bucks.

219/219 cam ID
89gta383, thanks for the valuable information about COMP's CAM DOCTOR
. I will definitely sends it to them to have it checked out, and also remove and install the DOWEL pin for 95-97 LT-1 version. I just bought a new ACCELL LT-1/TPI base, and I want to use it with a SUPER-RAM/219 combination on a LT-1 for a different/unique setup. This LT-1 base is pretty neat.
