Code 41 fix?

Hi, I need advice. I finally got my 1988 GTA to start/run the other day. It runs like crap, but it runs. The SES light is on constantly, so I checked the codes. The only code was 41. Code 41 for my 305 "F" engine is
cylinder select error/MEM-CAL.
What the hell does that mean? Where do I begin trying to fix this? Anyone have some good ideas as to what to try?.

THANKS
