reservoir not draining

My coolant doesn't drain back into my radiator. Ive checked the hose and cleaned the reservoir out to make sure no gunk was in there. ive heard that this means i have a vacuum leak somewhere. What do you guys think?

Usually that means either that you have a cooling system leak, or that you need a radiator cap.

i just went and looked. There is a small leak where one of the lines threads into the radiator. what can i use to seal that up? My dad says to use bars leak but ive heard some bad stories about it.

Only problem with BarsLeak, or any other stopleak type product is, it can't tell a leak (that should be filled) from a partially clogged water passage (which shouldn't be)
