Ignition problems?

Ok here it is.

No power getting to the s-switch on the solinoid for the starter. I can jump it with a screwdriver and it will crank the engine. It just wont start.

So I tested for spark....none

Since I never had problems like this before and both things happened at the same time, I'm thinking these are caused by the same thing.

So does anyone know what that is? Ignition switch bad? A bad relay somewhere?

thanks

I have another question. Is it possible to connect 12V from the battery directly to the coil so that it sparks? Would I then be able to short the solenoid and start the car?

The coil has 2 connectors with 2 wires each going into the top. Which voltage goes on each one?

See if you can check if spark(power) is getting to your coil, If not Check your igination module. It seems to be the cause of many peoples starting problems, includeing mine.
