I noticed posts take a few minutes to show up sometimes. YES I'm refreshing. YES I've tried closing and opening IE and doing it again. And YES it's getting worse. Anyone else with this problem?

I used to have a similar problem. Then I gave up on Microsoft Internet Destroyer and started using Nutscrape (Netscape) and am a new man.

I avoid Microsoft crap like anthrax. I'm not surprised the Justice department is pissed at them - if they are going to try to force crap down our throats, at least they could make it worth a damn. Their products are about as plain vanilla as you can get, but since they are "free" with many PCs, everyone just goes on using them, just like the sheep that go on driving Nissan Sentras because they have never been in a REAL car...

As an experiment, try clearing the cache and then reload the page. Internet Exploder sucks for not refreshing, and is the main reason I dont use it. Netcrash is nice enough to refresh for you when you click on a link... amazing.

 

try deleting you temporary internet files.

 

I am on Webtv, and have been having the same problem. But I don't worry too much about it since the posts always show up.

yes, use the cleanup harddisk utility in the system utilities folder, the problem is ie isnt reading information it gets (new) from the server, it assumes it knows what is supposed to be on the page, though it is the old info it already has downloaded, therefore does not show up on the board, not the server fault in other words
