distributor gear removal
I've got a stock GM HEI distributor and I need to change the gear. I've knocked out the roll pin and it still won't come off. What else do I need to do? Is it press fitted on?

Clamp the distributor in a vise and use a hammer and punch to get the gear off. It's just a tight fit.
