My car has had the same kind of oil used for every oil change that it has had.... I believe that it has had Castrol. (155k mi.)

I usually use Valvoline Durablend....

Would it hurt/help to change oils now?

Any suggestions?

Won't have anything to do with anything. If you stick with dino oils, they're all essentially the same so just pour in what you want. If you like Valvoline then run it.

ya, just make sure the castrol isn't blend or full synthetic, cause unlike plain dino oils, mixing synthetics can be bad.
