Today my car started squeeking when I pulled out if my parking spot and drove a bit, it stoped after a minute. It sounded lke it was coming from the rear when the widows were down and the front when they were up. The sound was like that when the brakes are bad and you hear the metal. My thought is that its a bearing going? any other thoughts? I was planning on driving it to PA(1000 MI away) in a couple weeks, but if the bearings about to go, probly shouldn't.

Can someone tell me how I would test for this at least? rather than just replacing them until the squeek goes away?

how cold is it where you live? if it stopped it could have been your speedometer cable, mine does it now and again if the car is cold. probably not the correct answer but its a suggestion. but dont listen to me. im still learning myself
