Cold start injector

What are the symptons of a cold start injector going bad?? Anyone experience any problems along this line??

Cold starts are not easy. Spraying starting fluid in the throttle body helps to start the car. My cold start injector isn't even connected, and my car starts fine. But I live in california. It is probably more important in Ohio.

I'm in NY and mine was unplug last week, it would crank about 10 times then I would hit the gas, it would start. I when I plugged it back in, it will start right up.
