No oil pressure on gauge
Hey guys,
I recently had my oil changed (cuz I didn't have time to do it) and after I left the place I noticed that my oil pressure gauge was reading 0 when I was at idle. When I accelerate the gauge goes up but when I come to an idle the oil pressure gauge drops to 0 again. I went back to the place where they changed my oil and they started messing with the oil pressure sending unit and when they were playing with it the gauge went all the way up and then all the way back to 0 but never fixed the problem. I've had overheating problems since before this incident happened because my thermostat needs to be replaced but nothing else out of the ordinary has happened since then. What could be the problem and should I be immediately concerned about it?
Thanks for your help!

Mine does the same thing.
Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. There are two pressure sending units. One is up by the dist (that's the one for the gauge) and one by the oil filter for the ECM.
The ECM has to see oil pressure or else the car wouldn't run. The fuel pump would shut off if there was no oil pressure.
