Vortec EFI idea

If a 2 barrel intake was going to be converted to fuel injection with 8 injectors, could the TPI TB bolt right to where the carb goes? I've been thinking of doing something like this with a with a Vortec Victor Jr. 2 barrel intake, Vortec heads, and either a Mopar TB or TPI TB. The pic is of a Mopar Magnum V8 EFI intake with stock type TB on top.

Here's the Edlebrock intake

Holley makes a hi perf TBI intake for Vortec heads. Check it out on their web site....
There is also a marine TBI intake(dual plane design) for Vortec heads that would probily work better on a mild street project.

That Holley intake is $450, and if you have to use holley fuel rails and TB, it will be even more. The edelbrock vortec Victor Jr is $230.

I'd look into a Performer RPM dual plane intake (Vortec) and then adapt the tbi to that.
It's a dynamite street/strip intake. Great throttle response and power. You can even plumb it for plenum heat (water or exhaust) which can be a big plus for T.B.I. and emissions.
