Engine: '89 L98 converted to CC Quadrajet

Transmission: '89 700-R4

Axle/Gears: 3.23

86 camaro timing

well here it is, i've been reading that something has to be disconnected when setting the timing on your car, but my v8 electronic control carb doesn't have the connector over by the air con blower. i would just like to know what the connector is called and where it can be located on my sports coupe v8.
