Today I drove my RS to work, first time in a week since I bought a truck for my daily driver. I noticed that the transmission will give a slight hesitation at about 50 mph. when I step on the gas. Once I finally get the pedal all the way down it seems to downshift more than just one gear. It feels like downshifting to second when you should have went to fourth with a manaul transmission.

The original transmission that was in the car started doing this a few months before it blew up about six months ago!!!!! Does anyone know how to do transmission diagnosis or check the codes before I assume the worse.

PS. I checked and rechecked the TV cable assembly and shift linkage to make sure everything looked ok and it did. Please help what am I missing???
