Whats up with that i havnt run the car on the road yet i just started it and drove it 2 feet out of my garage. i set the timing like 12 times total and now i believe its perfect. whats causing this, no back pressure?

Distributor isn't firing on the correct cylinder or cam isn't timed correctly to the crank.
It's possible you have the distributor 180 degrees out. Pull the #1 plug and bump the engine over until you feel the compression coming out. Look down at the timing mark on the balancer. It should be resonably close. Now pull the distributor cap off and look at the rotor. Is it pointing at the #1 plug wire or #6?
Since you say the engine was running, another posibility is that the distributor gear has moved. It's only held on with a simple roll (spring) pin. If the pin broke, there's just enough friction to hold the gear to the shaft however it can still turn and through out your timing.
