Ok seeing that it would fall under 2 catagories, I choose to put it here. Now as some of you know my car had a fatal encounter with a deer. Now I want to take the perfect drivetrain and engine out of it and put in a 91-92 camaro. Now how hard would it be to install it in 305 TBI auto car. I would need to swap FI and to a 5 speed. how hard would this be seeing i have all the parts I need (my old car

Since you have the whole car right there, it should be pretty straightforward. The problem most people have when they try a swap is not having a certain part or having to fabricate it (like the hard fuel lines).
Don't forget to swap the fuel pump.

yeah it sucks i know.....my father and I put in the new engine this summer so the removal and installation of the engine should not be a problem. What kind of time do you think it will take to swap over from TBI it TPI and i decided to forget about the auto manual thing. OR my other option for this car is posted in the suspen/chassis/brakes board...well two of them. Just take a look see and tell me what you think right there.

I found that it would be cheaper do to a V6 to V8 swap....see motor swap board for futher info and questions.
