leaking antifreeze...

OK guys, to start off, I did some searching on here, so I have a pretty good idea what my problem is, but just wanna get some input.

To give some background, I recently had the radiator blow out and that was replaced about a month or so ago. Its been running fine, a little white smoke which I am pretty sure is antifreeze. There has been no leaks up to this point.

Today, I am working on finishing tearing out my interior and decide to start the car up and let it run for a little while. It hasnt been driven in a few weeks. I have the hood popped because I am looking for some wires anyway that were run for a old car alarm. Anyhow, I can smell a little antifreeze and notice that there is something dripping directly below the lower main pulley in the center of the engine. I crawl underneath and sure enough... Antifreeze. I spend the next few minutes trying to figure out where its coming from and I really cant tell. Its coming from above the pulley, so my guess is the water pump is leaking.

Does this sound about right?

yes, when the water pump is getting ready to go, it leaks out of the weep hole on the bottom of the pump. That is probably where you are leaking from.

Your water pump is on the way out like mentioned above.

Have fun with that installation since all the other pullies bolt around the water pump If you dont know what I'm talking about right now, then you will later heehee

Thanks for all of your feedback guys.

This combined with the fact that the motor has 116k, its burning some oil and possible head gasket leakage is going to push up the engine swap...

oh well, thanks again guys!

I'd prioritize the water pump a little higher than the whole engine swap if it were mine...unless you're trying to blow it up.

Well considering its not gettind driven at all, its not going to do squat. All I was saying was that Im going to be swapping it out this winter, so not going to bother putting a new water pump, head gaskets etc...

thanks for the response.
