Fuel Pressure

I have been told that to raise my fuel pressure I can just disconnect the vaccume line and it will raise. Is this something that can be left disconnected all the time, or for just the track, or should I stop being cheap and buy a AFPR. Thanks

You should not unhook that vacuum line at the AFPR and drive all day long.

You will foul your spark plugs, loose MPG, and too high of a pressure might hurt performance.

These car have been programmed to run too rich anyways.

That is just my opinion.

One more think.

raise your presuure by 2/3 psi and then
unplug your O2 sensor when at the track instead of touching the vacuum line at the AFPR.
