I seem to have an oil leak that only happens when my car has been running for a bit of time, after discussing it with my uncle, we think it might be the oil sending unit, this is on a 1990 iroc-z28 5.0 305, i was wondering if anyone could help me locate the sending unit, im having a hell of a time finding it or if anyone else thinks theres another possible cause of the leak, its definately leaking from the mid of the block, because theres no visible leak from above, and theres a mess below, but no leak

 

OPSU should be right above the oil filter. 3 wire pigtail on it.

 

Is it probable that this could be the cause? cause i looked near the oil filter and i saw what looked like a plug with a drip coming from it, but i wasnt sure if the drip was further up or if the plug was the drip

 

I have seen quite a few OPSU's go bad with the oil coming out of the wire plug.
