question?

ok i recently built a 302 for a 91 mustang my car keeps overheating its got a 160 thermo and a flex fan but theres no shroud on it but the fan is very very close to the raditor and the car still has all the factory air dams on it but i think the water pump may be turning the wrong way i got a water pump for a bronco and the pulleys are a serptine setup now does anyone now if a ford bronco around a 87 is a reverse flow cause i cant find it anywhere, i know the water pump is spinning backwards but i dont know if a frod broncos are supposed to. the guy at auto zone told me the bronco water pump would work so i put my car in his hands bascially which isnt a good idea.

I don't know, but why didn't you get one for a 91 mustang?

Wow, Mustangs, Broncos. Couldn't get much further off topic, could you?

Unless you mentioned the WP came from a T-Bird.

Heck, ya can't even spell Ford correctly.

i believe it's the same water pump, are you sure it's overheating? Mustang's temp gauges aren't the most accurate. I'd definitely find a shroud or convert it to an electric fan. Probably not pulling enough air through it.

Since I'm also a mustang fan here's a decent site that's relatively new about mustangs. Doesn't have all the Mustang Vs. F-body bull****.
