help: now i cant get it started
yesterday i put a new intake and carb on my camaro. this morning i finished hooking up the distributor, wires and fuel line. now it wont start. its cranks, sometimes it starts to turnover but then nothing
i have pics of where i stand right now. my biggest prob is transfering all the emmisions trash.

Did you turn the engine to #1 TDC firing and make the corresponding terminal (whatever the rotor is pointing to) the #1 wire?

i marked the distributor housing before pulling it and dropped it back in in the same spot. the housing did get turned just a bit when i was putting the clamp back on. could this cause the problem?

I don't know anything about working on carbs at all, but are you using a mechanical pump or an electrical one? Might want to check the fuel pressure.
As for the timing..do you have a timing light? You'll need one if you don't. Loosen the bolt on the hold down clamp and adjust the distributor clockwise or counterclockwise until it runs right. With a light, get it to 6* BTDC. If your car has a electronic spark control, there is an EST wire that needs to be disconnected first.
