Which IROC?...

This is just a made up scenario. I'm just curious to see what others think, besides myself.

Lets say both of these cars are $4,000. They are both IROCs. One is an '89, black exterior with tan interior, with TTops. It has the gold package. It has 350 engine, that has automatic transmission. It has 100,000 miles on it. It has flowmasters, ram air.
The other, is an '88, red exterior with grey interior, with TTops. It has new paint job. It has the 305 engine, that has manual transmission. It has 100,000 miles on body, and 50,000 miles on dropped engine. It has a sound system, with subwoofers.
Both are in good running and looking condition. No problems.

1. Which IROC is more worth its price tag, of $4,000?
2. Which IROC would you personally buy based on information above?

Try to number your answers please. Thanks.

I would definately go with the '89 350 one. For one, it has a better engine assuming the dropped in 305 isn't built up. And besides unless the motor has a warranty or is rebuilt you don't know what kind of 305 you're getting. And far as the 305 having a sound system, I could care less as to how good the stereo sounds.

hmmm, it deoends on what you plan on doing with the car. If you're going to mod it, then go with the 350. if it's going to stay stock go with the 305, because it has a manual. they're just more fun to drive.

Thats my car! Thats exactly how I bought it. Even for the 4K price tag. The ONLY difference is mine had 120K. I'd definately go with the 350. And I'm partial to black too
