350 build
Hi all, I currently have a high output 5.0 in my 86 iroc. i can get a complete 1973 4 bolt main 350 for free and i just wanted to build a mild street machine. I was planning on getting some L98 heads and have them ported and having my tpi manifold ported and running some larger injectors and have a mild cam. what else is involved in this swap? i was hoping to run high 12's or low 13's. the heads should bolt on right?

Make sure they are from an '87 or older L98 as the later ones had a different bolt pattern for the intake manifold. Corvette L98 heads would also work (from any year up til '91), and if you get an aluminum pair, they'll chop 60lbs off the front of your car and flow better and also increase compression slightly.
