What kind of spring...?

I know this is a stupid question, but i need an answer nonetheless. I checked the previous posts about a loose door handle and they say that more than likely it's a broken spring. Now what kind of spring is this, and can i buy it at the local hardware store? Main reason is that currently my car is being stored in my grandma's garage, and i dont wanna be driving back and forth between the hardware store and her house just for a spring... so if someone could tell me what size or whatever i'd appreciate it...thanks

It's wound around the hinge pin at that end of the door handle where it hooks to its steel bracket. It's not very generic.

I doubt that it's possible to replace it. Even if it was, you'd save the enormous sum of like $12, and you'd still have to completely disassemble the door. It's not the sort of thing that makes a good opportunity to lower your total cost of ownership.
