ok last week i put an adj. fuel pressure reg. on my 89 5.7 tpi t/a. set the psi at 50 psi the car runs great,but it wont restart unless i releve the psi. i can set it back to stock and it will restart fine.i cant figure out whats going on . thanks in advance

Leave your fuel pressure close to stock and use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator which raises the injector pressure only at wot. It is plummbed into your fuel return and can be adjusted to twice the pressure rate at wot giving massive amounts of extra power providing all else can handle the extra fuel! A word of caution though, you need fuel lines and injectors that are in perfect shape that can hold these higher pressures, to avoid fires and the like!
