GM Pink Rods... good enough

I'm considering buying a freshly rebuilt 355 from a guy, has only a few thousand miles on it. The engine appears to have been built really well (forged pistons, arp main studs, complete dynamic balance, etc) except he used pink rods. They have been shot peened and have Arp rod bolts. Compression is about 10.2:1 He claims they should be good to 7000 rpm. I'd probably be revving it up to 6500 with my setup. I'm getting a great deal on the motor, I just want to know are these rods going to be ok?

GM says those rods are good to 450 hp. I'd say you should be ok with them at those RPMs, especially if they're balanced good.

Rods seldom fail. Bolts fail, nuts back off, bearings sping bc of loss of oil flow.
