$300 Head Job!
And shes hot too
j/k
I was talkin to a cop I know today who also owns a speed shop that he does part time. He told me could exchange me a set of heads for my car that have been worked some and install them for $350.00 I think I found a steal!!!!
But anyway he said with my mods and keeping my stock cam, just heads could dish another 100 hp or so out of my engine, is this true. I have an L98 350, edelbrock headers, high flow cat, Borla 3" cat-back, air foil, ported/siamesed plenum, slp siamsed runners, and a Jet Stage II chip.
What HP do you think I would be pushing with all my mods and worked heads.

If you end up with a set of heads that's the same casting as the ones you have now, you might see 20 or 25 HP, tops. Not even a set of AFRs would make that kind of difference.
Make sure that the heads you get for $300 are the same casting number you have now, or the aluminum ones. There's no such thing as "almost as good" when it comes to head castings, and no amount of work will turn garbage heads into screamers.
Oh yeah, and don't forget to check your casting numbers before you hand in your cores and verify that the other ones are the same casating, in case I didn't mention that. Nothing else about a set of heads is as important as that.
If they're not the same casting number, don't do it.

100hp seems a little off. Even Dart only claims UP TO 70hp with the Sportsman II's over stock. $350 for rebuilt heads, and installation sounds like a great deal as long as the numbers match like RB stated.

Hmmn, actually a pretty good deal, not only are you getting head...you're also getting laid....
And they wonder why no one trusts a cop anymore.
