This is different

Fired up the Iroc last week and went to town
15 miles away, no problems. Came out of the store, fired her up and she started missing
and sputtering at 3500 and above. Next day back to town, no problems. Next start-up same thing as before at 3500 and up. Anybody
have any ideas?? The first start-up I can run it to 5000 rpm and absolutely no misses,
sputters, or farts. Any start-ups after that
and it does its dance. I have let it set in between starts for up to an hour but still have the same problems. Thanks for any replies. Have a Good Turkey Day!!!

You may have a problem with the fuel injector coils shorting out internally when they get heat-soaked and one or more of them are intermittently not firing correctly - or at all. It is not uncommon for TPI injectors to do this, depending on the type of injector.

An idea......
