What Size Belts To Get?
hey, first of thanks in advance.
im running a '72 350, 3970010, and i just purchased a proform pro-66225R electric water pump, moved my alternator to mid motor with the mid brackets from www.alangrovecomponents.com 235R, here is what it says "This mid-mount alternator bracket is designed to work with CSR (and possibly other) electric water pumps. The bracket bolts solid to the head and water pump, and lines the alternator up with a long water pump crank shaft pulley.
", I also got a new march crank pulley 2 grooves MCH-6071, and power steering is in the stock positiion but im bypassing the water pump since there is no pulley the bracket i got for that is from alangrove also its 417L.
now i was wondering what size belts i should get for these, i was making an order with summitracing.com and thought i should get those while im at it, just wanted to ask, because like to get it right the first time!
also what about timing covers? id like to get a chrome one, not sure if they are pretty much all the same? i seen one summit brand for 40$ looks descent.

Unless someone is running the EXACT same setup as you, the only way I think you're going to find out is to measure.

Chrome is a very bad sealing surface. You can get chrome if you want, sure. If you do, though, sand down the sealing portion of it to ensure you get a good clean sealing surface.
