Power window problem

It started tonight on my maiden voyage after replacing the U-joints. The window went down but when started going up it slowed down, then stopped. Then i went home and was messing with it for a while, it sems like the window just looses power, looking at voltmeter. I swapped the switches and still had same problem soo.. any ideas?

The new motor isn't to bad ot install, I just did it you'll nee 4-1/4 20 x 3/4 bolts with self locking nuts and 3-3/16 pop rivits.
there is a spring on the gear tha realy sucks if it comes off. PS use a little duct tape on the edges of the metel or your arm starts looking like hamberger. An after market motor cost me about $45 the dealer wanted $110.
