I have an 82 sport coupe with a 4 speed manual and when I am shifting between gears the car spuders and then go's, also in the mornings it stalls in first when I let off of the clutch like when trying to merge into traffic. does any body have any suggestions on how to fix this problem or where to begin to diagnose this?

 

Check secondary ignition (wires, plugs, cap , rotor, timing) could have short somewhere, vacuum leaks.

I would check that first

 

I did the wires plugs new cap and rotor button, I'll check vac leaks but is there a possiblity that this could be carb related?
