gas gauge

My gas gauge went out on my 84 camaro v6. Have no idea what to look for to fix it, weather it's the gauge itself or something engine wise. Any help I would appreciate it, as to what to look for to diagnose the problem.

I sounds like it is a electrical problem. Check the connection to the gauge at the back of it and you can test it by using any voltometer.

It if fails than just replece the gauge.

You can also ask this question at the Electronics Forum. Those guys there are good.

Good luck
