The cam is too big for a stock stall.
Needs a 2800stall and a 3.73-4.10 rear gear.
Lunati #06109 or #60101 camshaft is a much better choice with a stock stall converter.
Lunati #73943 are the right replacement spring for either cam. No machining required.
Replace the 305 head's exhaust rotator type retainers with 8 stock type retainers and install a 3 shim pack (valve spring seat shim) (.015+.030+.060) on each exhaust spring seat on the 305 heads.
