i too had the nasty bog, and replacing the coolant temp sensor had no effect, as with doing all the other things to try and fix it - i ended up rebuilding my carb, found the bottom gasket (from carb to intake) had a break in it - after rebuilt carb, the engine is amazing - NO bog at all, and for 17$(autozone rebuild kit) plus 5$ in cleaning supplies, i recommend this action to any and all carb owners who have a few miles on the engine/carb
