Car wont start no injector pulse. Vette motor swap
Ok so the car is a86 IROC and I swaped in a 87 350 tpi vette motor in thier. The origional engine was a 305 TPI. I still used the iroc wire harness and put in the vette computer. Car has pressure going through the fuel rails but nothing is going through the injectors. Checked wh a test light. If i hold and spray starting fluid in the TB the car starts right up and runs. I dont know to much about this stuff it is my first motor swap but my buddies helped me out and they were tryin to figure it out last night playing around with it and they hood a wire up from the pattery to the injectors jumped it i guess and the car would run but ran ****ty and they were playing around with the relay and what not but we stoped casue it was getting to late. Just want to see if anyone else go throw some things at me and tell me what they think.. Thanks alot oh and its not the distrubtor or anythign its at TDC and the cat never backfired or poped or anything when we were doing it so the timing should not be a issue and the car does have spark and the fuel pump is pumping through the rails and was bleed

How do I bypass the VATS? I am using the 87 vette computer... I cant use the 86 computer right? Let me know what I can do... Thanks. Also Does the alternator have anything to do with it? I am using a serpentene setup off a firbird right now and i am using the new style plug in alternator... I am switching over tonight to the rib and v belt setup tonight from the 86 cause the serp wasent correct...

Sounds like what Vader said.
VATS is fun when u mix and match years.
The car will run badly but more than likley should start with your 86 ecm. Might want to try that real quick to confirm.(only for a test, i would not rec. driving the car like this)
I would recommend learning to burn your own Prom's. U will need to delete the VATS in the 87 vette bin to make it work on your car.
