error codes 24 and 41

I haven't had an ECM in my car ever since I bought it, which is about 2 months or so. I put an ECM that I had in the back of my car (guessing the guy who had it before was going to swap...because the original and the replacement were in my trunk) so I put the working on in the car. Car seems to run about the same though. It gives me a code 24 and 41.

Error code meanings:
24. Circuit fault in vehicle speed sensor
41. Fault at cam sensor OR Cylinder select error OR Tach input error

How would I go about checking and fixing these problems?

What all has been done to the car (i.e. is the stock distributer in there, or a vacuum advance distributer). If the stock distributer was removed in place of a vacuum advance, that may explain the code 41, or maybe its just unplugged. Check the connections around the distributer.

I'll check the distributor connections as soon as I get a chance. How do I go about fixing the code 24 problem? Also, next to the MAP sensor (left side of engine on bracket) there is a little rubber turbe to the left of it that's supposed to go to the right of the MAP sensor somewhere. What does the tube go to and what does it do? My tube is only 3 inches long and goes to nothing.

the map sensor vacuum hose goes to manifold vacuum. hook it up to a source of vacuum. the computer uses the vacuum reading from the MAP sensor to determine engine load and proper spark advance curve.

Where exactly would I hook this hose up to? I'm not sure where to look.
